Like it or love it the key to the Miami Heat and New York Knicks series will be J.R. Smith. Yep, you certainly read that correctly J.R. Smith! I know some are you are wondering why, and its actually quite simple. No one on Miami's bench is capable of doing what Smith is capable of doing offensively.

J.R. Smith can create his own shot and take some scoring pressure off of Melo. Additionally, he is a great passer and can get others involved. When our big 3 take a seat, we know who can take charge for us. His name is Smith, who do the Heat have. No one! All they have are players who can pop and shoot. That's why the Heat could not score more than 70 points in a game without their 3 All-Stars, losing 78-66 to Boston and 104-70 to the Wizards recently.

This is going to be a hard fought series and bench players are going have to step up, and I betting everything it is going to be J.R. Smith! Yes, he can be erratic sometimes. But if you watched the games this past week, you will agree with me when I say Smith has played composed. And a composed Smith is a Smith nobody in a league wants. Even the Heat.
