Listen, Knicks. I'm moving tomorrow. I'm just trying to pack my car, quickly and solemnly recap the game, then go to bed. That loss was perfectly mundane, but now you have to go make things interesting. I just returned to my computer to learn that Amar'e Stoudemire flipped out after the game. Here are the tweets:

Marc. J. Spears:

Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire punched the glass area that enclosed a fire extinguisher, a source tells .

Jared Zwerling:

Confirmed from the Knicks: Amare Stoudemire has a lacerated left hand. Paramedics and doctors are working on it. No further details.

As I write this, reporters have only spoken to Mike Woodson and team officials and have yet to enter the locker room (presumably because the locker room is drenched is drenched in Stoudemire blood and swarming with paramedics).

I am an avid puncher in moments of despair, so I can relate, but...Amar'e, come on. Soft things. Don't they have soft chairs in the locker room? Duffel bags and stuff? Shit, just sock one of the reporters in the tummy. Not a fire extinguisher, Amar'e. Those are hard as shit and encased in glass. That's pretty much the worst possible punching bag...unless there was a fire that we didn't know about. Oh well.

The Knicks!

Update:

League source told me Stoudemire will almost certainly miss game 3 and there's a possibilty he could miss the rest of the series.

Update from Amar'e:

I am so mad at myself right now, I want to apologize to the fans and my team, not proud of my actions, headed home for a new start
