Melo - I have grown to enjoy. As I drunkenly screamed during the meetup, I can hate the trade that got him here and still like the player. I am not gonna say that he didnt try hard and I was glad to see him working for rebounds and playing great defense. Here is the thing though, that SHOULD be a given. Our superstar trying hard is not anything that is going to determine if he had a good game. I am not sure what to make of the fact that some are saying he worked hard as justification when peop are upset with him. To me, if he had even 50% of the kind of game he was having all of April in either game 2 or 3, we could have won. But he didnt. Again. He sucked, and we sucked because of it. Thanks for the rebounds dude... but 7-23 is just an awful game from "the most prolific scorer in the league."

One last note. I get that his teammates were not stepping up (well, Jorts was in his 5 awesome min before getting benched for I guess not having enough tattoos). I only wish we had a player that could drive to the rim and pick up a foul. Or hit a 3 point shot. It would really be cool if he was European and a hit with the ladies. If only we had a guy like that...

I am not on board with just wanting the season to end. I want to win a freakin playoff game. I want this team to know they can win a game. Shit, I wanna prolong it as long as possible. lets win 2. Give these guys a little something positive. And to shut Chuck the fuck up about getting swept. Just win one game boys. Please. For us. We really need it...
