I am new to this blog and have been reading now for a couple of months and have really enjoyed the posts by fellow Knicks fans. I find it interesting to see such a divide on the opinion of Jeremy Lin. It seems as if many Knicks fans don't see him as an elite PG, one who can start 60+ games per season and take this team to the next level. The next level for now shall be defined as home court for the first round of the playoffs and AT LEAST one series win.
So to the Knicks faithful, on the eve of very possible playoff elimination I ask you this; if the Knicks do resign Woodson and become a defense first team, retain the services of STAT, Mello, Chandler, Iman--then who is at point?
The unrestricted free agent list is serviceable for this position:
Steak House EATS--not Outback
Andre Miller ($$$)
Jason Terry ($$$)
Mo Williams ($$$)
These three guys would look very nice in blue and orange but most likely don't fit the Friday night dine out budget, so we must consider a higher end tex-mex place with a good margarita.
Jason Kid ($$)
Delonte West ($$)
Kirk Hinrich ($)
Knowing that MILPCAT is a long shot and that I feel strongly about much of the cast, I find myself daydreaming about a season with stability at the coaching position, health of my studs (Shump get better-STAT go to fire safety school), and a PG that take us somewhere higher.
