Granted, our roster is far from complete, but assuming we have the guys we think we'll have, I think it's important to ask ourselves how we stack up against the Heat and the Thunder... being that they're in the finals and we are not.

For the sake of argument, let's say we have:

PG: Lin/TD

2: Shump/Landry

3: Melo

4: Amare/Jorts/JJ

5 Tyson/Jerome

Now let me ask the experts:

Are we athletic enough?

Is our collective basketball IQ high enough?

Is our cohesion developed, or developing, enough?

Do we have enough "competitors" with the chops it takes to push through adversity? Enough guys with championship balls?

Will Woodson implement offensive and defensive systems that match up well enough with the skill sets and athleticism of the Heat and the Thunder?

Personally, upon seeing how the Heat and Thunder are playing... with the force they're playing with and the speed... I think we've got considerable work to do. I see our roster deficient in the defensive length we'll need to contain the other teams, and I see us needing to develop an identity with enough shared conviction to stand our ground against more talented players.
