I will keep this short and sweet. I think one of the cardinal rules of drafting is knowing who you are. We have in place two dominating scorers and a burgeoning PG that also has displayed a propensity for scoring. Most think that what we lacked last year was spacing and that we should add a shooter to give Melo and Amar'e more room to operate. I beg to differ. I think what we lacked last year was playmaking. We desperately need a guy that can find the open man on time and on target. I can't tell you how frustrating it was to watch Amar'e FUCKING Stoudemire wandering aimlessly around the rim, unguarded, with his hands in the air and a WTF expression on his face. We don't need scoring or shooting (especially if Novak and JR return). We need playmaking.

Tomas Satoransky is a 20 year old Euro that is a 6-7 PG by trade. He's not an aggressive scorer by nature. He's a table setter. He's got good size and excelleent vision and feel for getting the ball to the open man. And youth provides the added benefit of time for development. He can be a secondary playmaker along side Lin that allows Jeremy to stay in attack mode and break down defenses. He would allow Melo to also stay in that mental state and not have to worry about setting up his teammates. And he's a guy that can find Amar'e on time and on target on aff-ball rotations. We don't need some one to stretch the floor. We need a guy that can recognize and exploit defensive rotations and find holes to poke.
