I don't currently own a Knicks jersey, and there's a good reason for that. That's because the team rarely stays the same long enough for me to buy a jersey that will be able to be worn in public in the future.

Now that the Knicks are seemingly done playing with the major pieces on the roster I can buy a jersey of a player that will be here for the next five years.

Here are the possible jerseys I want.

Tyson Chandler

Iman Shumpert

J.R. Smith

Steve Novak

Carmelo Anthony

Everyone has a Melo jersey though, so that's out of the question. The real question is how long are these guys going to be Knicks? Out of them all I really want to get Shumpert, but after the trade talks involving Steve Nash I don't want to go near that with a two foot pole.

While a Chandler jersey seems like a good idea I just don't know if he's going to be a Knick past his current contract. Same with Novak and Smith.

Maybe my best option is wait for Chris Paul next year!
