Printezis Didn't Like New York Fans And Media

Georgios Printezis apparently didn't like the way that New York media and fans treated Kostas Papanikolaou after he was drafted and that was supposedly enough for him to know he had to turn down the Knicks contract offer.

The constant complaining in New York media and among the fan base about Greeks, Greek players, Greek basketball, the Greek League, etc. was a definite warning that no players from Greece are welcome in New York.

Papanikolaou supposedly might also demand a trade to another team because he does not want to play in a city that has such a huge and obvious hatred of Greek players.
