Ok I hate to say this because I wanted Lin to come back to NY as much as anyone but. Let's remember Chris Paul did not sign a extension with the Clippers this summer and he wanted to come to the Knicks. I rather us wait for Paul to become a free agent pay him to come and play rather than pay Lin who was a bright spot for us after this season. I just don't see Lin leading the Knicks to the finals and to a NBA Championship. If we can get Paul, Anthony and Amare together along with the huge market New York is we will also have quality veterans jumping on with the Knicks to win championships just like the Miami heat. (Case in point Ray Allen) The will sign at mid-level exceptions to add a ring to their careers. It's happening in Miami as we speak. I hate to see the game go to this but this is how the NBA is played and Miami has won more NBA championships since the Knicks last championship and even Boston has won more since our last Championship that it is time for the Knicks to get on board and create their own super team. Let Lin go pay Chris Paul next year and and bring home a NBA title.
