The article is about why Lin never went to Stanford. He was offered to walk on, maybe have the single scholarship for next year. But it turns out there were 2 scholarships. Johnson had saved one for his heavily favored player. Lin never looked back. Stanford could have had Lin and Landry as their two scholarships. CRAZY. So yeah, Lin'll never come back.
