Update: USA wins 100-78. Melo led the way with 27 points. Mmhmm. Moving this thread back below the signing news.
G'afternoon, earthworms! If you're here to talk about the Ronnie Brewer signing or the Pablo Prigioni signing, there are threads for those things. If you're watching this afternoon's Olympic exhibition between the United States and Spain, you're in the right place. The game, which tips off at 4:30 EST, will be televised on ESPN2 (and online at WatchESPN).
Unfortunately, after getting to see Prigioni spin for a while in the Argentina game, we're back to watching just two Knicks-- Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony-- in today's game. Here's a picture my friend Rich took of Chandler warming up. Spain is considered the U.S. teams biggest rival and boasts many NBA players, but no current Knicks. They do employ our old friend Sergio Rodriguez, so there's that.
Anyway, comment along here if you're watching the game and, if you can, try to keep discussion of the signings to other threads (which I'll bump back up to the top once the game has ended). Enjoy!
