So I am a Jeopardy nut. I DVR it, and watch it often, normally in marathon format where I watch like 4 in a row. Often I watch it during sports, when commercials come on I switch over.

The other day was teh final of Kids Jeopardy. I always like the Kid, Teen and College Jeopardy because they make me feel both incredibly smart and incredibly stupid. They had a sports category, and the one boy tried to answer most of the questions, but was just a little off (A-Rod instead of Jeter). It got to $800, and I think the young man had gotten 1 right and the 2 girls looked perplexed that sports is on Jeopardy.

Then came the answer for the question "Who is Jeremy Lin?"

I dont remember the actual answer, it had to do with the amount of points scored in his first 7 games for the NY Knicks.

But what happened after Alex finished it is what made me shake my head...

All 3 immediately attempted to buzz in. They all knew it, and was dying to hit the button. One of the girls got it, and the other two players were visibly upset they didn't get that one.

I dont mean to harp. Im sorry, I know people are moving on and dont wanna talk about it and I dont mean to bring it up again. But, this to me highlighted part of what this team gave up and why the bullshit that he was gonna get too much money was not based in reality.
