On Monday night, we lost a dear member of the SB Nation family. Tim Allen was a very talented, entertaining blogger (as anyone who reads Canis Hoopus can attest), a delight to work with, and a friendly guy who I had the pleasure of meeting just a few weeks ago. Yesterday's news was and is heartbreaking. Condolences and best wishes to Tim's family and friends.

Mental illness is not to be trifled with. If you are depressed, I implore you to seek help or talk to someone. Shit, talk to me if you need to. My email's over there on the left.
