Okay, I only do this for Posting and Toasting. I will never, ever do fanposts like this on any other fanblog.
When gymtanlandry took pictures of herself in an Amare jersey during a trip to Machu Pichu - a challenge was born - a challenge which up to now has only been taken up by me, I guess. Whenever we'd visit some place new, we'd be on the lookout for Knicks related stuff or have a picture taken with a jersey, cap, Tee, etc.
So I was in Scotland for nine days.
I found these while browsing through shops at one point:
I am not a big fan of Melo - y'all know that by now - so I was pretty disappointed to find this T-shirt at Foot Locker in Edinburgh. No Tyson Chandler! There was a Chris Paul shirt and one of a-player-I-hate-who's-playing-for-the-team-that-destroyed-our-playoff-chances-last-season.
And the cap - too blue, not enough orange - and it looked eh.
Totally disappointing - so these definitely did not earn a trip to Denmark with me.
I did find something at the National Museum of Scotland: a display of scimitars! So cool...
Sorry for the gigantic pictures, by the way.
I've taken a lot of pictures, but I won't fill this page with them all.
I have chosen memorable ones...
Edinburgh Castle
The Coast of Leath
A pub.
Me in front of Doune Castle where they filmed certain segments of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". Notice the shirt - my daughter designed it - NYK in Knicks colors.
Of course - or this would not be about Scotland.
I ate haggis, took a trip to the Highlands and Loch Ness, went to a ceilidh pub, but I never did find out what they had under those kilts. There are rumours, though...
