Training camp is a week away. We're sososososo close to having real basketball stuff to talk about. In the meantime, we must satiate ourselves with Knicks television appearances. This one, at least, is pretty cool. Amar'e Stoudemire-- "Athlete, Author"-- will be the guest on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart this Thursday. It seems Amar'e will be on mostly to talk about that new children's book of his, but I imagine there'll be some basketball/engagement/fire extinguisher conversation as well. I'll bet each of y'all five bucks Amar'e uses the word "lioness" at some point in the interview.

Anyway, it should be fine viewing (Comedy Central, 11 PM EST on Thursday), and if folks are planning on watching, I can make this post a StoryStream and add a Thursday night thread as an update or something. I really just want any excuse to play with all these new features.

(By the way, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan will be the guest on the ensuing episode of The Colbert Report if anybody's interested. I'm midway through Season Four right now and it's really all I want to talk about ever).
