Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Knicks broke their losing streak with a win over the visiting Hornets.

Still plenty of issues, but man, did it feel nice to watch the Knicks grab a convincing win before departing for London. The Hornets aren't a good team, but they'd been playing well lately. The Knicks allowed New Orleans a big first quarter and things appeared to be following the usual pattern. New York tightened up considerably on defense, though, and dominated the second and fourth quarters. Chris Copeland dropped a sparkling 22 points in a small forward start and Carmelo Anthony recovered from an awful first quarter to to lead the team with 27.
