Good afternoon! It's almost time for tip-off. After a long, barren stretch without basketball, the Knicks begin a little in-divison swing with an MLK Day matinee against the visiting Nets. Unless they meet in the playoffs, this is the last time we'll see the Knicks and Nets play this year. Should be a good 'un.

The Knicks' starters will be the same as last time: Jason Kidd, Iman Shumpert (making his MSG season debut), Chris Copeland, Carmelo Anthony, and Tyson Chandler. The cap on Shump's playing time has been increased to twenty minutes, so expect him to play three or four sliiiightly longer stints guarding Joe Johnson. New York could definitely use the help contesting Brooklyn's 1-2 pick-and-roll and the penetration of both Johnson and Deron Williams. (Iman will also be wearing some cool sneakers, it seems.)
