Preseason Final Score: Raptors 100, Knicks 91

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sport

The Knicks' scrubs coughed up the lead in a fairly forgettable preseason game.

It's official: the Knicks have lost the Andrea Bargnani trade! Where's the nearest bridge for me to jump off? *checks Google Maps*

Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points in 25 minutes, Iman Shumpert finished one rebound short of a double-double, and Tim Hardaway Jr. continued his impressive preseason. But the Knicks defense couldn't stop DeMar DeRozan or keep the Raptors off the foul line.

The Knicks briefly took a 10-point lead in the third quarter lead with the help of Shump and Tim Jr., but the Raptors' scrubs took it to the Knicks' scrubs to grab the lead and the game in the fourth. I'm really starting to think that Knicks' scrubs aren't very good! I was forced to watch the Raptors' game feed, and I was told by the announcers that a statement was made down the stretch. So consider the statement made, I suppose.

It would appear that this preseason winning streak was just too good to last. We'll just have to settle for an 82-0 regular season instead!

Feel free to take out your frustration in the comments. I'll have a recap up later tonight.
