An Oral History of the Knicks Utterly Boning the Final Possessions Against the Wizards

The story of the fateful night.

On December 16, 2013, with about 45 seconds in an NBA basketball game at Madison Square Garden, Bradley Beal hit a contested  three to tie the Wizards and Knicks. On the next possession, the Knicks shamelessly wasted an opportunity to go two-for-one, lucking into a last-second foul on Beno Udrih, who played every minute at point guard after Pablo Prigioni went down with a fractured toe. He hit one free throw. The Knicks did not offer comment on that blown two-for-one. They did offer comment on what followed:

ON JUST FUCKING LETTING BRADLEY BEAL SCORE OUT OF A TIMEOUT TO PUT THE WIZARDS UP 1

On that note...

ON THE KNICKS NOT CALLING ONE OF THEIR THREE FUCKING TIMEOUTS WHEN THEY WERE DOWN ONE WITH SIX SECONDS AND THE LENGTH OF THE COURT TO GO

what

ON MIKE WOODSON STILL HAVING A JOB AFTER COACHING THE KNICKS AS IF HE WANTED THEM TO LOSE

ON WHAT TO DO WITH THE ROSTER NOW THAT BENO UDRIH IS THE ONLY REGULAR POINT GUARD AVAILABLE
