After playing around with the ESPN Trade Machine I might have a workable solution for some of our woes. One could hope right?? Since we have an issue of tradeable assets it has to be essential to bring other teams into the picture....here is my trade proposal:
4 Team trade with NY, PHO, BOS, and HOU (after reading and putting in input from our community)
NY gets: Goran Dragic, Channing Frye, Gerald Green, Eric Bledsoe and Marcus Morris
Gets some young talent and value for Carmelo Anthony while keeping Shumpert and THJr. Have true point guard in Bledsoe and floor spacing. Hollinger Analysis says +7 wins
HOU gets: Brandon Bass, Alex Len, Jeff Green and Markieff Morris
Get younger players and take on minimal salary. Hollinger Analysis says +0 wins. They don't get worse but now have pieces that fit with Harden and Howard
PHO gets: Carmelo Anthony, Gerald Wallace, Omer Asik and Courtney Lee
Get Bonafide starting Center and potentially best scorer in league, creating a strong one-two punch while providing salary relief for NY and BOS. Hollinger Analysis says -5 wins.
BOS gets: Emeka Okafor and Jeremy Lin
They keep Rondo and dump ALL long term salary while having an insurance plan in Lin in case Rondo isn't 100%. Okafor is merely thrown in to make salaries match since he is an expiring contract. Hollinger Analysis says -4 wins.
Accepted and conforms to the NBA salary cap as per the ESPN NBA Trade Machine.....obviously future draft picks aren't factored into this....
What do you guys think of this??
