The Answer is No. The Knicks are to old and slow to compete with teams like the Heat and the Thunder. Also there not playing the same defense the started the season with. I cant say I expected the start the Knicks had earlier. But I could tell you why. The relied to much on Jason Kidd who production has been dropping steady each month. Non of the veterans can stay healthy which could hurt them in the playoffs. Tyson Chandler is playing great but is playing super human like minutes and if Carmelo doesn't score the Knicks suffer greatly. Here are a couple of moves the Knicks could do to get rid of there problems.

• Trade for Josh Smith. ( Iman Shumpert and Amare Stoudemire With a 2014 1st round pick since the NBA doesn't allow you to trade consecutive 1st round picks) and receive Josh Smith and a filler
