Amid all the announcements of people being out, here is some good news:
Carmelo Anthony is listed as probable for tonight versus Orlando.— NY_KnicksPR (@NY_KnicksPR) March 20, 2013
This is good. This is good because it's not "Melo's knee hasn't been drained yet and he's still in pain but hey let's see if he can play anyway". Melo said a couple days ago that he felt substantially better immediately after the knee got tapped and just needed to get some "pop and power" back. Instead of dreading 30-odd minutes of leaden, depressing play, I'm hopeful Melo can play something like Melo, like maybe hit some jump shots and finish around the rim sometimes. He's had some splendid games against Orlando this year, so I'm especially optimistic.
