Renaldo Balkman, ex-knick, plays as import reinforcement in the Philippine Basketball Association...Having carried his team to a 5-1 win-loss record, Balkman earned the admiration of basketball fans here and even earning the nicknames like Balkmanimal and Incredible Balk.. But in his latest game here, March 8, 2013, he was visibly a step slow the whole game, not able to find his rhythm, an off night... As the game reaches its waning moments with his team losing, Balkman snaps... he gave a referee a mouthful and initiating contact, then as his assistant coach tried to intervened, Balkman gave him a shove... He then went after another official... Then on to the 3rd... as a teammate tried to pacify him and stay between him and the official, he pushed his teammate, then as another teammate tried to calm him down, he pushed him also... the teammate pushed back, and balkman choked him!!! Wow!!! I have seen numerous riots in basketball, but this is the first time i have seen a player choke his own teammate!!
