Tyreke Evans and potential offseason mock

Recently we have heard melo's request of another scorer. And the Kings no longer have a strong interest in guard Tyreke Evans. Tyreke Evans has tremendous potential. He has incredible handles and is a strong finisher around the rim. He has great size standing at 6-6 220. He is a good passer with good vision but sometimes he gets a little selfish.( Nothing a good coach cant fix). The only knock I would put on Tyreke is his jump shot. He would be a perfect pick in New York. which is why he was almost traded to New York but grunwald didn't want to mess up the chemistry. So now is the time.

Possible trade for Tyreke Evans:

Kings receive:

Knicks receive:

  • Tyreke Evans
Tyreke would have to play point guard and him and the Knicks can benefit from it. Evans has incredible driving skills which would allow him run the pick and roll and set up the 3 point shot effectively.
Draft:
There is a rumor that the Knicks want the Mavericks 13th overall selection. Personally I am not for the acquisition. It would require the Knicks to take another bad contract in Shawn Marion's bad contract, and give a 2014 draft pick which they cant because the fact that the Knicks gave the 2014 pick to the Nuggets in the melo trade.
So with the 24th selection the New York Knicks select Tony Mitchell.
Tony Mitchell played the 4 at north texas. But he has the athleticism to play at the 3. He has elite shot blocking and is a great rebounder. He can finish around the basket with his soft touch and with his leaping ability and makes him that much more of a crowd pleaser and a great dunker.
Maybe Mike woodson and Glen could talk Melo and Stoudimire to take a little pay cut
Free Agency:
  • Timothy Mozgov
  • Josh Selby
  • Kyle Kover
  • Jerome Jordan
Resignings:
Sorry Cope( Chris Copeland) but I dont believe the knicks can afford you.)
Projected lineup
Starting: Bench:
  • PG- Pablo Prigioni
  • SG- J.R Smith
  • SF- Kyle Kover
  • PF- Amare Stoudimire
  • C- Timothy Mozgov
