So I'm moving from Buffalo, NY to Washington, DC in the fall, and I am pretty sure I'll (finally) be outside of the regional blackout zone for the Knicks. A quick thing about me: I have lived without any cable TV of any kind for several years now. I am OK with this. I have used illegal streams (please don't hit me, Seth) to watch all Knicks games that were not aired on ABC.
Now, I have the ability to pay what I think is a reasonable price to get League Pass Broadband and watch the Knicks.
Here are my two questions to you, P&T:
1) Do you know for sure whether or not DC is outside of the Knicks regional blackout zone? I mean, I figured Buffalo would be, but it's not.
2) If I do the five team package, who are the other four teams I should pick? Who would you pick for yourself?
For that, I'm leaning towards: Detroit, San Antonio, Golden State, and Chicago
This is not because I particularly like any of these teams, except for San Antonio, but rather because I think they'll be interesting and fun to watch.
What do you guys think?
