The Knicks play the Heat tonight, which should be difficult. I bet it'll bring the best out of the Knicks, though, because the Heat tend to do that. It's looking like New York will play without Tyson Chandler and-- here's a new one-- Beno Udrih, who messed his knee up Tuesday night against the Pistons:
No full strength tonight. Tyson Chandler (upper respiratory infection) is listed as doubtful for tonight versus @MiamiHEAT

Beno news: An MRI to Beno Udrih yesterday revealed an inflammation of the left tibiofibular joint – he is doubtful for tonight
— Steve Popper (@StevePopper) January 9, 2014
There are a couple tibiofibular joints, but the Knicks are presumably talking about the one in Beno's left knee, not ankle, since that was the area of concern/MRI.
What does all this mean? Well, up front, probably the same stuff. More Kenyon Martin (whose Minutes Upright Without Injury counter is getting perilously high), and probably some more defensively unseemly frontcourts. In the backcourt, no Beno (and no Pablo Prigioni) can only mean one thing: TOURE' THURSDE' LET'S GOOOOOOO
Tip-off's at 8. Game's on TNT.
Update: Heat stuff:
Shane Battier (quad) & Mario Chalmers (Achilles) out tonight for Heat at Knicks. Dwyane Wade (knee) gametime but that is reasonably standard
