So recently there have been these reports emerging that OKC is interested in trading for, who else, Iman Shumpert. The feeling is that the Knicks are going to ask for a first round pick from them... Granted that OKC will likely have a bottom five pick in the draft, but this still beats the picks the Knicks have in this years draft... oh wait.. that's right... We don't have any... Look, there are so many places we can go with this, and with just under an hour left, I'm starting to get worried
I was a big fan of Shumpert's when he was drafted, and I really do hope that he will eventually live up to his potential, but that is not going to happen here in the big apple. I think a change of scenery will be best for everyone. The Knicks could take this precedent that they've set in discussions with the Thunder, and shop it around to other teams, and see who feels that Shump is worth a higher draft pick. Regardless, We'll still have an opportunity to get someone like Stauskus, McDermott, Lamar Patterson, or even a CJ Fair, who i Suggested earlier that we should pick up in the draft by all means necessary.
