Meet Your New 5 Guard Rotation

Derrick Rose, our new 27 year old starting PG... will be driving, scoring, dishing and kicking out to...

Eric Gordon, our new 27 year old, solidly built starting bulldog of a SG... who will be hitting his close to league lead % in 3's, penetrating on close outs for pull up jumpers and drawing fouls

Both of whom will be slightly better at defending than Jose Calderon and Arron Afflalo, but will still put pressure on Joakim and KP.

And when Derrick and Eric take breathers, or when one is taking a game off for at worst, a hangnail...

Austin Rivers, all athletic 6'4, 23 years old of him, will do his best Derrick Rose's attack the basket, be okay at D and set up his teammates impersonation, while kicking out to...

Our very own 24 year old Langston Galloway... who will continue to be our best perimeter defender with his 6'2 frame and insanely long 6'8 reach and rags to riches narrative, and who will do his best Eric Gordon hit the 3 and attack the closeouts impersonation, while also excelling in Horny's "push the pace" system.

But let's not forget about "the kid", our very own NBA rookie all 2nd teamer, "BeRONce Shot Maker" Baker, who will surprise everyone but Knicks fans with his tenacious Dellevadova like defense, and his Jeff Hornacek like outside shooting.

So there we have it... can we live with it? Can we love it? Can we not hold our collective breaths for fear of past injury histories?

I reckon I can.

None old. 2 in their primish. 3 young. All can guard 1's or 2's... averagely. Some drive. Some shoot. If healthy, unstoppable. If not healthy, deep enough to stay above water.
