Lakers agree to terms with Chinese guard

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Lakers agreed to terms on a contract with point guard Sun Yue. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 22-year-old was the Lakers' second-round choice in the 2007 draft out of Chinese club team Beijing Aoshen. Sun has also spent time with China's national team and participated in the Las Vegas summer league in 2007.

He is currently a part of China's Olympic basketball squad, which takes on Team USA on Sunday.

The franchise is expected to finalize terms of the deal shortly.
