More From Media Day

Yes. This is real bad. That's all I'm going to say about it.

Moving on, I forgot to mention earlier today that a lot came out yesterday about the robbery of Eddy Curry's home earlier this summer. From Eddy himself in a Newsday article:

"I had a gun in the house, so I'm thinking, 'OK, maybe if I got to my gun . . .'" Curry said. "'Maybe these guns aren't real, or they don't work.' A lot of stuff went through my mind.

"But sitting here today," he continued, "I definitely think I made the right decision by not doing anything. But you know, after it happens, you're like, 'Man, I could have done this.' "

Curry, who essentially replaced Marbury as the Knicks' centerpiece player last season, considered the thought and added, "Them having guns definitely made it easier to decide not to do anything."

Two of the robbers have been charged, but police still are looking for the third accomplice. Police believe there is a connection between this robbery and the one in which the Heat's Antoine Walker was robbed at gunpoint in River North, Ill., on July 9.

Curry said the robbers knew who he was. They entered the house through the open garage door as Curry's driver was parking the car.

Good to know that Eddy kept his head in the situation and didn't let anybody get hurt. Considering the circumstances, it's a blessing that everyone came out alright.

(Tip of the hat to the Fanhouse. Wag of the finger to robbers.)
