Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

Your SB Nation Reader's Choice Defensive Player of the Year is...

...at center...6'11''...from the University of Massachusetts...Mar-cus CAM-by!

That's right kids, former Knick (one of my favorites) and P&T winner Marcus Camby took the DPOY ballot by storm, winning by a considerable margin. Camby led the league in blocks and injured fingers, and intimidated in the paint behind Iverson and Anthony. Anyway, here are the full results from around SBN Basketball:

Results
Marcus Camby- 115
Tim Duncan- 73
Shawn Marion- 44
Shane Battier- 30
Ben Wallace- 25
Douche Bowen- 16
Jermaine O'Neal- 12
Kirk Hinrich- 9
Ron Artest- 8
Dwight Howard- 7
Josh Howard- 5
Emeka Okafor- 5
Alonzo Mourning- 3
Josh Smith- 2
Devin Harris- 2
Raja Bell- 2
Players receiving one vote: Tyson Chandler, Renaldo Balkman, Quinton Ross, Kevin Garnett, Baron Davis, Andrei Kirilenko, Ime Udoka, James Posey, Dikembe Mutombo, Tyrus Thomas, Thabo Sefolosha
Players receiving zero votes: Duane Causwell, the Monstars, Steve Francis, Hamburglar, Morocco Mole, Pete Rose, and this manatee...

Step it up, son.

Anyway, congrats to the Camby man. If you're reading this, Marcus, you can stop by my office (home) for your prize (Wheat Thins) as soon as is convenient.

Make sure to check out the other awards. Rookie of the Year, Sixth Man, Most Improved, and Coach of the Year are already up.

Backatcha later, kids of P&T nation. Peace.

No votes for manatee?
And I thought Jerome James was a defensive stopper. Ahahaha, ahahaha, hahaha, ha, he's sooooooooooo fat. He's a fatty. That's wit right there.
By the way, I'll kill the two motherfuckers who voted for Steve Francis for 6th man of the year. No joke. I'll kill them. Like, kill. Death. This is how angry those people make me.

I didn't even see that...
Besides the fact that he's a bottomless pit of filth and pestilence, is he even eligible??
