Knicks Gonna Work it Out

From NYKnicks.com, the Knicks and Nets are combining resources to work out four players tomorrow (Tuesday):

Meanwhile, Mike Dougherty mentions that Stephane Lasme (F) of UMass, DaShaun Wood (G) of Wright State, Jamar Wilson (G) of Albany, and Brandon Wallace (F) of South Carolina will all be working out in Jersey, with Knicks officials watching. (Prospects are trying to consolidate their workouts this year. Sean Williams, for instance, will be holding a couple of general workouts in Houston, and that's it. This all comes from Doughtery's blog, Knicks Knacks.)

What do you guys think? I haven't seen much of any one of these players, but Byars and Williams (who I will call "Chong" Williams when he is in the NBA), both seem like they could find a place in the rotation. What's your first impression? State your case in the comments.

I hate this draft
I saw those names and thought "oh, I don't know any of these guys, I guess we're looking for prospects to take in the second round."
And then I went to nbadraft.net to see who they had for our second round pick.
And then I realized that we dealt it to Chicago and Chicago dealt that pick and Rodney Carney for Thabo Sefolosha. So we have one pick.
I want either Sean Williams. If the Knicks draft Stephane Lasme, would the other Knicks call him by his name, causing Steph to turn around every time, and vice versa? This is the type of thing that I wonder. How do Flip Murray and Flip Saunders coexist? Discuss.

who to pick
Im all for byars...according to nbadraftnet at least, his weaknesses all seem easily corrected compared to those of other players on that  list. Not to mention he can swith between 1,2, and 3, since isiah loves the multi position guard. Seems like he can develop into another Q rich with better passing and a lil bit less of a 3 pt shot, if u ask me.

I say him or Sean "Swat Team" Williams.

Ok..
Swat Team. Interesting. It's a sweet name, but I think we might have to save it for a potential tandem of Williams and Cato, or some other shot blocker.

I like Byars, too. I've been watching some videos of him (which I'll post sooner or later), and he seems like a fiery guy who might be able to help us defensively and on the catch-and-shoot.

thoughts
i like byars, i think hes a baller.  he carried vandy last year.

dont like sumpter or nichols, i think theyre both 2nd round players but i trust isiah if he thinks theyre worth it first round.

i know that jamar wilson was a good scorer at albany, but outside of that, ive only seen him play one game and that was against VA in the tourney this year (and albany got smacked around).

deshaun wood could be a sleeper, i may be wrong but i believe he was the horizon league player of the year, or at least the top scorer.  he terrorized a good butler team in their meetings this year.

i heart the draft because im obsessed with college hoops.

Ewing with the step...YES! and the foul!

thumbs down 2 nichols
yea nichols would be a non rebounding worse defense version of Q , in my opinion...i say we draft someone with average nba D or better, i dont care how money their shot is
