This sucks a lot.

If you can't tell, I'm trying to avoid the Isiah Thomas trial, but this news probably has to be up for discussion. Whatever the outcome may be, it sucks that the Knicks have to get this kind of attention going into the season, and I'd rather not focus on this too much. I will, however, go ahead and mention this bit about Stephon Marbury, who testified today:

Afterward, as Marbury raced to a blue Rolls-Royce trailed by reporters, he called the trial a "tough situation" and refused to speculate on the possible outcome. "It's not for me to judge," he said.

Marbury tried to change the subject by making fun of the reporters' ties and shoes, noting that he was wearing expensive tan lace-ups, then drowning out the pesky questions by breaking into song.

"I got some new Starburys that are coming out," Marbury said before disappearing, a pitch for his reasonably-priced basketball shoes.

Yup, that's Steph. Again, feel free to comment, but I don't have much to say about this ugly business.

UPDATE: I know I said I wouldn't talk about this, but this profile says that Marbury has been married since 2002 and had a kid in 2005...which would make him married with a child at the time of this incident. He may be in more trouble than it seems. I can't seem to find any articles that make mention of this.

Cheating barely makes news, I'm sure Mrs Marbury will get all in his ass in court if needed. Zeke comments about not caring about white people sucks more IMO.

Am I the only one enjoying this?

I mean, come on. But there are a few things I do need to know:
What song was Steph singing?
What "shoes and ties" jokes can you really make?
Will FSNY want to bring Steph back for another season of Stars on Stars with all the intern-sexing going on?
Is anybody making "Bitch, I don't give a fuck about these white people" t-shirts yet? As soon as I have a minute, I'm changing the header of my website to that.
When they say Marbury "disappeared", is that just a descriptive way of saying he left, or did he like, wave a cape around himself and vanish into thin air? At this point, it really could be either.

Hell No!

I think this is great... Marbury is challenging Gilbert Arenas for "Goofiest NBA player"; don't get caught up in the negative press - this sh*t is hysterical.

-Chris Brown. For real, I forget the source... maybe Newsday?
-I don't know, but supposedly he popped his head out of the Rolls-Royce, called a reporter over, busted on him a bit, had their picture taken together, then off he drove away. He's like a black Montegomery Burns.
-I sure hope so. Ratings!

-Again, he drove off in the Rolls-Royce. That's actually even better, in my opinion. Seriously, if he was white, how could you not describe his behavior as "eccentric"?!?

if they can SOMEHOW find the video of stephon walking 2 his car singing chris brown after the trial no doubt in my mind ill piss myself. knicks are by far the most entertaining team ive ever seen in the offseason no less. btw who knew zeke was still gangsta as fuck i always see him wearing those short shorts in practice and talking in press conferences like hes a 55 yr old white guy.

bring oakley to this team let him comment on the situations thats when we start getting truely hilarious material
