Game Thread: Knicks vs. Pistons- 1-13-08

Yo. The Knicks are at home this evening to take on the Pistons. I'm on my way out right now because my girlfriend's parents hooked us up with some choice seats for tonight's game. There will be a recap of some sort tomorrow. Peace.

GIANTS!
Oh wait... the Knicks play Detroit tonight? So much for a single day of glory in New York professional sports.

Knicks by 16?!?!!?
Here's the issue: If we lose, its disgraceful, if we win, it's counterproductive.

I also attended
If you saw a person wearing an Allan Houston jersey 300 rows above you, that was me.
The Knicks are 3-0 plus a preseason win in games I've attended this year, and I'm terrified.

Oh, and
HOLY FUCKING SHIT WE BEAT THE PISSTONS BY 24 AND HELD THEM TO 65 POINTS WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT

What the fuck?
this team is retarded
I'm think I'm gonna average like 10 points, like 12-13 dimes, like 2.. 3 assists and about 4 -5 rebounds

If you saw someone...
coughing and sneezing, that was me (I like to get ahead of the curve, and catch the flu early).  I started at the very last row in the 400s (pinned against the wall), but we trooped down at halftime to some seats we saw in section 60.

Bonus to the cat who sat near us, and uttered this phrase, with the score 71-42 in favor of the Knicks:

"Damn, Dolan is going to give Isiah a 5 year, $10 million a year extension after this game..."

The only reason why the Knicks won
is because the Pistons didn't even show up. They were at the end of a four game road trip, and had just played the Bobcast in overtime yesterday, so they very obviously at most points of the game didn't bring their A effort. Hamilton's foul on Nate at the end of the first half was embarassing. Nice effort by Balkman in the game.
