Game Thread: Knicks at Heat- 1-19-08

What up, party people? Your New York Knicks are in the city where the heat is on this evening to take on the strugggggling Heat. Pat Riley's boys have lost a ghastly twelve straight, including a loss last night to the Blazers. The Knicks are looking to start a new streak, and there ain't a better place to do it than Miami, where the Heat are only 4-13. It's sure to be ugly, but hopefully New York can get it done.

I'll be around for at least some of the thread, and might have a recap coming your way by tomorrow. Who knows. Get them W's.

OHH SHIT
that was a sick putback, he almost did it again like you said, that woulda been insane.

btw, put Jerome in! he's one of the best defensive centers in the league, remember Isiah?

How can Isiah not see...
...that Jamal is clearly fucking exhausted. He needs to sit for a little while.

On a side note
Terrible local advertising has always been my favorite part of MSG commercial breaks.

For those of you watching in NYC, how about those Hillside Honda ads? Incredible. Guy: "Can I, uh.. ask you something?" Girl: "What, you want my number?" "No, I wanted to check out HillsideHonda.com!"

Also, WHAT THE FUCK is "Inn Spa World" or whatever? That has got to be just about the most ridiculous looking place ever. I don't know how relaxed I'd feel chilling in a glittery, colorful, plastic igloo.

God bless local advertising.

P.S. Fuck the Lexus Platinum Dealer Network. I hate that woman in the black dress.

Note to Isiah:
Don't put Eddy and Zach back into the game. Am I the only one here sick of the energy, defensive guys bringing us back into the game, only to have the two fatasses take us out of it when Isiah reinserts them.

Take a look at the +/- numbers for each Knick
D Lee, Nate, and Balks always seem to be the top three.

Heh, we'll see when they go to Boston
Great clutch play from Robinson near the end, and great defense at the end. Cook had a nice three too, too bad he missed it. Had a good look. I still say if they got rid of Curry and just got a back-up center, they'd do better.

this win could mean we have less ping pong balls
but tanking is rarely rewarded unless your the 1996 Spurs

Knicks
Good win by the Knicks. Nate really has improved.  Jamal is having the best year in his career.
