Game Thread: Knicks at Warriors- 1-27-08

Booyakasha. The Knicks are in Golden State, CA (which I thought was a city until I was about 10. That's what you get for paying more attention to the NBA than to geography class) to kick off their West Coast road trip against the feisty Warriors. The Warriors won in a blowout the last time the two teams met, so I wouldn't mind a nice measure of revenge, no matter how much I love Baron Davis and the Dubs. Make sure to check out one of the best team blogs on the interwebs, Golden State of Mind, as well as their interview with Modi from Cosellout. well....

as you can expect, Warriors are controlling the tempo, but the Knicks are responding well in it: especially with Mardy, Balk, Nate, and Lee. Mardy's D is fantastic tonight, and Balkman is as exciting as ever. oh, and Biedrins has like 12 rebounds in the middle of the 2nd Q...speaking of Q, he ain't doing so hot

Simply because the Warriors LOVE to hoist up three's, and if they're stinking it up like they are now, the Knicks should be able to capitalize.

pretty impressive first half.

you can't count on the warriors missing that much from outside, but the knicks managed the tempo pretty well.

totally killed me. Jamal missed way 2 many shots that r usually fine for him. sucks to lose like this and im instantly drawn back into derrick rose beasley and mayo when 20 mins ago i was thinking crazy playoff push. Like this group tho i hope that zeke sticks with mardy even after jones comes back. lakers jazz and sonics coming up if they can somehow get 2 wins ill b content.

btw the play where ellis drove to the basket and balk blocked it but g-state ultimately got ball back, monte clearly was palming the ball. that sucked. Although nate traved 8 times later on in the quarter so somewhat even
