Yo yo. Sorry I'm late with this. This is your Knicks-Lakers game thread. L.A. is playing without Andrew Bynum, which is probably a blessing for the defensively inept Knick big men. Don't discount someone like Kwame Brown, though. If he's gonna break out of a funk, damn straight it's going to be against the Knicks.

Question

How come, after every made basket for as long as he's in the league, David Lee guards the inbounds pass with his back to the inbounder? I kind of always noticed it, but I'm starting to wonder if it serves any purpose whatsoever. I don't see any players on any other team or on the Knicks guarding inbounds passes like that, and it's even weirder since we don't go full court press.
