Game Thread: Knicks vs. Magic- 4-6-08

In their first game back from a road trip, the Knicks are at the Garden tonight to face the Orlando Magic. I've got quite a bit of work, but should be around for at least some of the game and to recap. Check out Third Quarter Collapse for the Orlando perspective on tonight's game. Get them W's.

Where is the game??
NBA TV has an NBA at 50 retrospective on.

The Twolves are leading Memphis
Which is good if we want that third lottery seed. But the Knick game isn't on the League Pass or NBA TV where I live!

Oh this blows!
I'm missing Clyde & Pearl AND we're winning big??

by HUSTLE HARDER on Apr 6, 2008 7:42 PM EDT reply actions

well
Not winning big anymore, although for the first time in my life I'm in full-on tanking mode. There is nothing Knick-related I want to happen more than getting Derrick Rose (yes, even Isiah getting canned or Dolan losing the Knicks in a poker game).

Those are my Knicks!
Lead down to one now, that's more like it! Can't even get the game, but I'm firmly interested in the Rose sweepstakes lose-a-thon.

i just cant
openly root against the knicks. i wont be even slightly upset if they lose, though.

I feel you man, it hurts me to do it...
I'm just fixated on a Rose in the Garden right now! (not Malik) I wouldn't even want Beasley!

I just...
...want the Knicks to win 23 because they've never lost 60 games in their ENTIRE FRANCHISE HISTORY, and I don't want it to happen because we made a terrible decision to hire Isiah.
Yes, they deserve to die, and I hope they burn in hell!

wow
that move by nate was...intoxicating.

i can't believe this
im furious. this sucks. going for this 3rd slot is the only thing keeping me going. and on the night where memphis and minn had at least one guaranteed win between them, we have to go and blow it. this sucks.

Up 13 with 3 to play?!?
I hate having to root against this team but winning makes absolutely no sense.  Barring a miracle comeback by Orlando we're now down 1 1/2 games to Minnesota for third worst record.

i have faith in good karma
good things come to those who beat good teams. not that we usually do that, but...

great
hopefully magical "good karma"! will give us a decent player. is this the "my name is earl" theory of team building?

by riise on Apr 6, 2008 9:29 PM EDT up reply actions

yes.
im taking either "good karma" or "david stern rigging the draft"
