The SB Nation Reader's Choice Awards Results

Here's your first round of results from the SB Nation Reader's Choice Awards. In case you didn't know, these awards were voted on throughout all of the NBA blogs in the network. Anyway:

  • Green Bandwagon gives you the final tally for Rookie of the Year. (Posting and Toasting winner was Brandon Roy.)
  • Indy Cornrows has the Most Improved Player. (P&T winner was Kevin Martin.)
There are more awards going up in the next few days, including Defensive Player of the Year (they give me the shitty one, of course) right here at P&T on Thursday. Back later. Peace.

If you crossed Michael Douglas and Al Pacino, you might get Pat Riley.

In the interest of full disclosure
When I said you'd get DPOY, it was mostly to point out the irony in that the Knicks don't play defense.

It's the same reason ClipperSteve got coach of the year, with Mike Dunleavy as their coach, and Indy Cornrows got most improved (the team basically didn't improve).

Uh huh..
So you got MVP because the Wiz, at this point, don't have anyone you've ever heard of on their active roster?

Well
TZ got MVP for that reason, but I guess it works better when he handed it off to me.
