Out With a Labrum

Eddy Curry's MRI results are in, and the big man done torn his labrum. He hasn't been evaluated by the team doctors yet, but the prognosis is good:

The MRI on Eddy Curry's right shoulder revealed a torn labrum. Knicks aren't putting a time on his recovery until he gets back to New York and is evaluated by the team's othopedist, Answorth Allen, on Tuesday. But the team -- with last season's medical issues fresh in its memory -- is promoting the belief that it is not serious and should not result in Curry missing much time at all.

Sounds good, but this better not be another David Lee situation. I don't care if Eddy doesn't see a minute of the preseason, as long as he doesn't miss any real time for this.
