Not the biggest news in the world, but it's something. Mike Dougherty is reporting that the Knicks have acquired Jared Jordan from the Clippers for cash considerations. You may know Jared as the little white floor general who was drafted 45th overall out of Marist. Kind of a hometown kid, eh? Jordan seemed like a decent prospect before the draft. You never know.
Other than making Dan Dickau a lock for the waiver wire, I'm not sure what this means. We've still got too many guys, and Jordan isn't exactly a big pickup. Whatever. At least it's not Allan Houston.
Yeah.
By the way, this marks the third consecutive summer in which Isiah Thomas picked up a player with the initials "J.J.". Someone saw this coming.
