Game Thread: Knicks at Rockets- 1/10/08

Maloney_medium

Good evening, friends. For those of you uninterested in the late football game (or willing to flip back and forth), the Knicks are in Houston tonight to face the Rockets. Having lost the first two games of this West Coast swing, the Knicks could really benefit from stealing one in Houston tonight. The good news is that Tracy McGrady will probably sit this one out, as he's known to do in the second of back-to-backs. (Although, given the season he's having, that news might not be that great). The bad news is that Knick-killer Ron Artest is expected to return  (UPDATE: No Artest) and cause problems for the Knicks, who haven't won in Texas since it was part of Mexico (in 2004). It'll be interesting to see if Eddy Curry gets to spin once more against Yao, who dwarfs all other NY big men considerably. We'll be watching Nate Robinson as well. Can he break out of his slump, or will we have to stomach another hapless shooting performance?

Anyway, stop by and comment if you're watching, and head over to The Dream Shake for some Rockets coverage. Tipoff's at 8:30.
