A tweet from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports:
David Lee has agreed to a 1-year qualifying offer for $8 million plus incentives with New York, agent Mark Bartelstein tells Yahoo! Sports.
Finally. Just as in Nate's case, I'd be interested to see what sort of incentives are included in the deal. More on this as it comes.
Lee deal is actually 1 year $7M with a $1M bonus if the Knicks make the playoffs.
What do y'all make of that incentive? I see it as Walsh lighting as much of a fire under his troops as he can, since next year's draft pick goes to the Jazz. There will be zero tanking this season.
