2010 Erev Yom Free Agency Thread

Everybody cool? In a good place? Got some snacks at hand? Good. Let's party.

I'll be watching Knicks Night Live at 12 AM. In the meantime, I'm watching Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. You ought to do the same.

First update: Free agency begins in earnest at midnight. In the meantime, a first piece of interest:

The Knicks have their plate full tonight for their free-agent trip to Los Angeles, The Post has learned.

At 9 p.m. Pacific time, they were planning to meet with Washington's 6-8 small forward Mike Miller before sitting down with Atlanta's Joe Johnson, according to a source.

Mike Miller. Not exactly the name I expected to be reading on my screen on June 30th, 2010, but an intriguing name, for sure. More as it comes.

Update: (12:09): Your whereabouts:

Two weeks out of serious neck surgery, Donnie Walsh didn't travel to LA. In Ohio for meeting with LBJ

Update (12:23): MONTAGE.

There will be talk of James having his own show for MSG Network — a no-brainer if interested. According to a source, the pitch will include a montage videotape of the Knicks’ bank of celebrities and former players Willis Reed, Earl Monroe, Walt Frazier and Bill Bradley raving about the Big Apple and playing for the championship Knicks teams.

James, a big "Sopranos" fan, may also see a James Gandolfini testimonial.

Update: (12:26): (Shivers).

#Timberwolves getting Rudy Gay and David Lee to come to town for a look around.

Anybody ever been to Minneapolis? HOW IMPRESSIVE IS IT?
