Man oh man. Just choosing the picture for this post was a reminder that this still stings quite a bit. This may be the single greatest departure of deeply beloved Knicks since I've been a fan. When I see the new Nuggets in their powder blue uniforms, I might get a little misty.
Anyway, I don't have anything profound to say (not that I ever do) about the departures of Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Timofey Mozgov, Anthony Randolph, and Eddy Curry. I wrote a bit about each of these blokes for NY Magzeen. Don't ask me why I spent half the time talking about barnyard animals. It was really late.
This thread is going up (and will likely stay up top overnight, barring more news) for you to share memories and bid farewell to any and all of our outgoing Knicks. Dig up old pieces of writing, videos, photos (either small ones or just link 'em please), stories, etc., or just reminisce. These are six guys with dramatically different Knick legacies, but each has left a lasting impression here at P&T.
Let's save any vitriol for the trade and the management for other threads. This one will be just for celebrating and saying goodbye to the six former Knicks. Also, be nice to Eddy.
