Evening, friends. At long last, another game of basketball. It's against a very bad, very depleted Orlando Magic team, too, so I'm very worried. My Knicks instincts lead me to believe this is exactly the kind of game in which the brilliant offense and suffocating defense evaporate while unknown players have career nights. My instincts have been pretty routinely wrong this season, though. Let us hope they take this one seriously, keep the momentum going, and finish the night 5-0.
Some things:
- Mike Woodson will go with the same starting lineup, but expect Ronnie Brewer to play fewer minutes than the 37 he played on Friday. He's not hurt or anything, but that knee is still recovering, I guess, and it's best to follow a more gradual path to big minutes.
- Still no Jameer Nelson for Orlando. I'm pretty sure that makes their lineup Moore-Redick-Afflalo-Davis-Vucevic, with Davis and and Afflalo taking most of the possessions guarding Carmelo Anthony. Or something.
Tip-off is at 7, not 7:30. Comment along here, check out the excellent Orlando Pinstriped Post, and pray the Knicks don't fall into a trap game. Please don't post large photos, .gifs, or links to illegal streams in the thread.
