Riveting! Anyway, the Knicks play the Pistons this afternoon. I'll be in attendance for the first time this season. The Pistons are quite a bad team--- just 3-10-- but not to be taken lightly. They're not to be taken lightly because all three of those wins have come in their last five games and they're not to be taken lightly because the Knicks should never-- especially after a thirty point loss to a fairly bad team-- take anybody lightly. Detroit has genuinely imposing bigs in Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond and some dudes around the perimeter-- Brandon Knight, Kyle Singler, Kim English-- who can and will shoot. After the last two games, I think it'd mean a lot to all of us to see the Knicks shut down that entire operation. They need to dominate this afternoon for me to get the terrifying notion that the defense is just suddenly broken out of my head for the time being.
