Hello. The Knicks and the Nets play at Madison Square Garden tonight. The Knicks had shootaround this morning, and here are the injury updates going into tonight's game:
- Carmelo Anthony shot around on his bad ankle. He is, as usual, a game-time decision. If Melo elects to sit, Chris Copeland (called up from the BayHawks!) will start at power forward once more.
- Rasheed Wallace and Marcus Camby will remain unavailable tonight. Sheed says he aggravated an old injury and Camby just got a cortisone shot. Both are knitting you warm socks for Christmas.
- Steve Novak missed shootaround because of "flu-like symptoms" (Hey now, Steve!). Hopefully, he feels well enough to go tonight, but that's uncertain for the time being.
- Amar'e Stoudemire rested today. He'll practice with the BayHawks again tomorrow.
That's what's up. How about you guys? Everyone healthy? No plantar fasciiti or flu-like symptoms out there, I hope.
