Well, I'm not sure exactly how they pulled that off, but the Knicks just came back and beat the Timberwolves. New York sunk themselves with miserable perimeter defense, a poor effort on the boards, and unusually sloppy, isolation-heavy offense. Somehow, J.R. Smith's excellence, a fourth quarter full of Tyson Chandler rim protection and Carmelo Anthony drives (19 points in the final frame), and some wild refereeing (in both directions) ended with the Knicks surviving. I don't even think they played that much better during the comeback, but come back they did.
20-7. 4-2 on the home stand. Recap later.
