Game Thread: Knicks vs. Nets- 2/20/12

Evening, ladywigs! The Knicks will face the Nets at home tonight in a game that's already flush with story lines. Or at least two, anyway:

1. Jeremy Lin's breakout game came against the Nets. He torched Deron Williams in that one and, based on what I know of the guy, Deron's gonna come out pissed and looking for revenge tonight, and he's more than capable of exacting it.

2. Injuries. Lots of news on that front: Carmelo Anthony will be back in the lineup. Tyson Chandler will remain in the lineup despite having two sore wrists and a sore back. Iman Shumpert will miss tonight's game and is day-to-day because of knee tendinitis (which has apparently been bothering him for a while and might somewhat explain his trouble finishing at the basket. His take-offs were always weird). Bill Walker and his elbow are still out. Baron Davis will suit up and is expected to debut tonight. Still no Josh Harrellson.

So, wow. This is as close to fully staffed as the Knicks have been all year. Very, very exciting. Hopefully, the new mix add up to excellence and not a letdown loss to the Nets.
